Our Story
Earthbound is a regenerative wellness hub and community farm located on 80 acres of land along the Fowey River in Cornwall, near Lostwithiel. Rooted in permaculture principles, Earthbound focuses on building soil and community health, growing nutrient-dense food, fostering animal and plant welfare, and creating a thriving local food ecosystem.

A Note from Milo, Earthbound’s Founder
Earthbound has always been rooted in community — a project built by many hands and hearts, for something bigger than any one of us.
It started, really, with friendship. That bond between like-minded people became the mycelial network beneath everything we do — unseen but vital, holding it all together. It’s friends and community that have fuelled Earthbound from day one.
We began as an events collective, throwing gatherings that brought good people together around music, nature, and local food. Cornwall was (and still is) full of small start-ups doing brilliant things — farmers, brewers, chefs — and it felt important to celebrate that energy. Those events were alive. They gave us a sense of what's possible when people gather with intention.
Eventually, we felt called to put our hands in the soil. The gatherings became a garden — a small, hand-scale market garden that we tried our best to run in a good way. It’s been a humbling process. There’s so much knowledge out there on how to grow food regeneratively, but not enough structural support to make it truly sustainable — at least financially. We found ourselves caught between the beauty of the work and the hard truth of its economics.
So we’ve been listening deeply, adapting, evolving.
Like many farms, we’ve leaned into diversification — but for us, that shift isn’t just about survival. It’s about alignment. It’s about returning to the deeper ‘why’ behind it all: to regenerate land, people, and community.
To grow not just food, but wellbeing.
To offer not just products, but experiences that nourish.
Sustainability starts within. Health — of the body, heart, and mind — is foundational. That’s why we’ve expanded into wellness: breathwork, movement, cold plunges, and a wood-fired sauna. All rooted in nature, all designed to help people reconnect with themselves and the elements.
This is our offering — a living system built on food, friendship and respect for the natural world.
Thanks for being curious enough to find us. You’re always welcome here.

Savannah
Savannah runs the business development side as our passionate General Manager. She's had a long history in sustainable living and permaculture, while building an international business of her own. A main passion of hers is bringing visions to life through events and community gatherings and has lots in the pipeline for Earthbound. There's not much this ray of sunshine won't get her hands stuck into and is going to continue to bring her drive for positive change with all that she does at the farm and beyond.

Lizzie
Lizzie is our resident livestock farmer. An animal welfare scientist by training, she is employed by universities, NGOs, private companies and governmental bodies to carry out research into high welfare, sustainable livestock systems. This background and her deep well of love for animals and the natural world have informed her approach to livestock farming. Her approach is labelled "innovative" in the research sector as it goes against the grain of current commercial systems, but to her it feels deeply intuitive, rooted as it is in the cycles and wisdom of mother nature.
